Product Development

Turning concepts into working automation systems

TAC helps companies develop new automation products, machines, and process equipment from early concept through prototype, validation, and production-ready implementation. This work is best suited for teams building something new: a first-of-its-kind machine, a pilot process that needs to become a repeatable system, or a product concept that requires mechanical, electrical, controls, and integration engineering to become real.

Let's bring your product to market!

Integrated Engineering and Prototyping

Once the direction is established, development moves into detailed engineering and prototype execution. This is where coordination across disciplines matters most. Mechanical systems, controls architecture, electrical design, and software all need to be developed together so the prototype reflects the real operating requirements of the final machine.

What we offer:

  • Mechanical design and machine development

  • Electrical design and panel engineering

  • PLC, HMI, and SCADA software development

  • Motion control and safety system integration

  • Prototype system build and internal validation

  • Supplier coordination and component selection

  • Testing and system validation

Success Stories

Lab0 was our first successful 0 to 1 customer, engaging us to help turn an early concept into a working automation prototype. That prototype gave their team a tangible system to demonstrate, validate, and build investor confidence around during a critical stage of growth. The result was a successful prototype effort that helped support Lab0’s path to securing Series A funding.

Production-Ready Execution

A successful prototype is only one step. The system also needs to be manufacturable, maintainable, and ready for field deployment. We develop automation systems with long-term use in mind, including documentation, serviceability, controls structure, and practical commissioning support. This helps customers move beyond a one-off prototype and toward a system that can be repeated, supported, and improved over time.

What we offer:

  • Controls refinement for deployment

  • Documentation and drawing packages

  • UL 508A panel fabrication support

  • Factory testing and system validation

  • Installation and commissioning support

  • Ongoing technical support and future system revision
