Control Panel Fabrication

UL 508A Certified Control Panels Built for Performance and Compliance

TAC designs and manufactures industrial control panels used in manufacturing automation systems, robotics platforms, mobile equipment, and marine applications. Our UL508A panel shop supports projects ranging from complete electrical system design to modernization of legacy controls and build to print fabrication.

Whether customers are starting with a concept, upgrading an existing machine, or looking for a reliable panel manufacturing partner, TAC provides the engineering and fabrication capabilities required to deliver dependable control systems.

Our panels are deployed in demanding environments including factories, recycling facilities, industrial infrastructure, and marine vessels where reliability and compliance with electrical standards is critical.

Our Work

Ground Up Panel Engineering

For new automation systems, TAC provides complete electrical design and panel manufacturing. Our engineers work closely with customers to develop the electrical architecture, safety systems, and control platforms required to operate the machine or process. This includes both land based industrial equipment and marine electrical systems.

Ground up projects typically include:

  • Electrical architecture and schematic design

  • Control platform selection and system layout

  • PLC, motion, and safety system integration

  • Control panel fabrication and testing

  • Installation and commissioning support

Because TAC engineers are also active automation integrators, our panels are designed with the full system in mind. This ensures the control hardware supports long term reliability, serviceability, and scalability.

Recontrol and System Modernization

ModernizationHMI.png

Many industrial machines and marine systems continue to operate with control systems based on outdated PLC platforms, discrete sensor architectures, and limited motion control capabilities. TAC performs control system modernization by redesigning existing control panels and control architectures using current automation technologies.

Legacy systems often rely heavily on discrete sensors and simple on or off control logic. During modernization projects these sensing systems can be replaced with sensors capable of providing continuous process measurements such as position, load, pressure, temperature, or speed. This allows control software to operate on measured values rather than simple state changes.

Machine motion systems can also be upgraded. Systems that previously used contactor control, hydraulic proportional valves, or basic variable frequency drives can often be converted to servo based motion platforms. Servo drives allow precise control of position, velocity, and torque while improving repeatability and dynamic performance.

Control system upgrades also allow the introduction of modern industrial networking and data collection. Machine state, sensor values, and motion data can be made available to HMI systems, plant networks, or external data systems for diagnostics and process monitoring.

These upgrades allow existing machines to continue operating while introducing modern control capabilities and improved system visibility.
